Accounts Payable Manager

Do you have strong data entry and analytical skills? Are you looking to expand your professional experience? A vibrant and developing pharmaceutical company seeks an Accounts Payable Manager on a 6-month contract basis. This is an exciting and new opportunity for a self-proclaimed go-getter looking for an rigorous and dynamic environment in the Greater Boston Area. 

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Sr Manager with the day-to-day functions of Purchasing and Payables
  • Partner with business owners and other stakeholders for training and educating
  • Work with the AP Specialists to ensure mailbox is managed timely and that all invoices are on-time Optimize Oracle system by implementing new functionality
  • Support the converting suppliers to ACH and the converting USPS vendors to email
  • Mange the quarterly and annual financial audit processes 
  • Continually identify opportunities to drive improvement in the requisitions
  • Work with departments within the Company to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely processing of invoices/POs
  • Assist with the support, manage, and mentoring of staff

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’ s degree 
  • 5 to 8 years of Procurement or Payables experience
  • Experience with large ERP systems, Oracle EBS or Oracle Fusion 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to help lead and manage a growing team
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative, work independently, and use creative problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, rational, analytical, adaptable, organized and collaborative
