A local college seeks a bright and passionate Admissions Representative to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. The individual in this role will be accountable for achieving outreach activity, interview, application and new student enrollment goals. Moreover, this is a tremendous prospect for an initiative-taking, creative-thinking individual who is interested in driving change within an organization. 

  • Recruit new students for the on-campus and online programs 
  • Oversee outreach activity, interview, application and new student enrollment goals
  • Reach out to prospective students over the phone 
  • Utilize methods to support outreach such as email, texting, and other tools
  • Schedule and conduct admissions interviews in-person and over the phone
  • Present and share information relative to each prospective students’ identified needs, preferences and goals
  • Document all outreach activities and interactions with prospective students in CRM/SIS systems
  • Guide applicants through the admissions process 
  • Partner with financial aid team to assist prospective students through the financial aid process Participate in admissions events that support enrollment (i.e. new student orientations and open houses)
  • Provide campus tours to prospective students

  • Bachelor’ s degree 
  • 2 years of professional experience in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Involvement working in a role where you had/must consistently make outbound phone calls daily
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly attentive to detail 
  • Solid Microsoft Office expertise (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Commitment to integrity, academics, ethics and compliance
  • Exceptional customer-service skills, able to respond to employee questions with tact and diplomacy 
  • Practice conducting consultative conversations to help individuals make important decisions
  • Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner in-person and over the phone
  • Experience working in a CRM and Student Information System (SIS)

Nice to Haves
  • Previous admissions recruiting experience for both on-campus and online programs 
  • Experience with Salesforce (SFDC) 
  • Competence to multi-task, take initiative, work independently, and use creative problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, organized, analytical, persuasive, results-driven, and collaborative
  • Ability to create and maintain a team spirit and harmonious working relationships
