  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team in growing and scaling the organization
  • Communicate, engage and interact with CEO & Board of Directors
  • Assess and evaluate the financial performance of the organization with regard to both aggressive expansion plans and long term operational goals, budgets, forecasts, and capital requirements
  • Partner with CEO for important business transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and capital fundraising requirements as required to achieve growth objectives
  • Provide insight and recommendations to short-term and long-term organization growth plans
  • Evaluate functional departments, make suggestions for automating processes and increasing efficiency
  • Implement, maintain and audit internal financial controls, policies, procedures, and processes as appropriate
  • Develop maintain, and manage monthly and annual company operating budget
  • Prepare and present monthly financial reports, as required by management and Board of Directors
  • Identify, develop and execute analysis of business opportunities and initiatives, product launches and/or new service offerings

  • CPA or MBA 
  • 10 or more years of total accounting or finance experience
  • 5 or more years of experience in venture-backed emerging growth companies
  • 3 or more years of experience as CFO or equivalent
  • Experience in strategic planning and implementation
  • Knowledge of finance, budgeting and forecasting, risk management, cost control principles and US GAAP
  • Ability to analyze financial data, prepare financial reports, analysis and projections and effectively communicate these to non-financial managers
  • Experience and appreciation of the effective management of corporate finance in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Prior experience in the 3rd party fulfillment or e-commerce industries
  • Prior completion successful exit for investors and shareholders
