A nonprofit organization seeks a talented and experienced Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to join their team. The individual in this role will participate as a key member of the finance team, influencing decision making, identifying finance priorities, and managing finance staff. Moreover, this is a tremendous prospect for a creative and influential leader who is interested in driving change within an organization. 

  • Lead the budget process 
  • Develop, communicate and drive the budget timeline
  • Create budget templates, roll-up files and prepare budget deliverables 
  • Support Senior Leadership Team in performing forecasting
  • Prepare presentations to the Board of Directors and members of the Senior Leadership Team
  • Oversee the development of enterprise planning tools and financial models to support the preparation of financial forecasts, the annual operating budget and strategic planning processes
  • Drive effective communication with key stakeholders before, during, and after each month and budget milestone
  • Ensure their needs are being met by leveraging the appropriate talent and resources
  • Collaborate with the lines of business in the development of the budget and forecast assumptions

  • Bachelor’ s degree Accounting or Finance
  • CPA
  • 8 or more years Financial Planning, analysis, budgeting experience
  • Comfortable providing month analysis reports and being able to speak about findings
  • Strong understanding of cost reduction plans
  • Ability to pull information from their system and providing detailed reports
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook) 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly attentive to detail
