A leading proprietor of renewable energy plants seeks a Events Coordinator to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. Moreover, this is an exciting and new opportunity for a self-proclaimed go-getter looking to join a dynamic team and make an immediate impact.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute workshops, speaking engagements, tradeshows, and other brand awareness activation events
  • Help execute corporate sponsorship, brand and advertising strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Support adherence of internal and external users to brand design guidelines, ensuring that all communications cohesively communicate the brand
  • Identify and research additional event opportunities to support and reinforce brand strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the design team and external agencies 
  • Assist in the development and management of events and materials
  • Evaluate and suggest improvements to planning processes as necessary to create efficiencies
  • Maintain event list, speaking submissions, and branded items inventory
  • Prepare event briefing materials and talking points for employees attending events
  • Plan, manage, and execute all corporate events

Qualifications:
  • 2 to 4 years of related experience
  • Bachelor’ s Degree, preferably in event management, marketing or communications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to write copy, proofread and edit
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Ability to lead and manage resources

Nice to Haves:
  • Knowledge of the energy sector
  • Good understanding of branding, and brand management concepts and/or with advertising
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative, work independently, and use creative problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, organized, analytical and collaborative
  • Ability to create and maintain a team spirit and harmonious working relationship
