A software company seeks a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join their bright and passionate organization on a 3-month contract basis. However, this position has the potential to extend. Moreover, this is an exciting and new opportunity for a self-proclaimed go-getter looking to join a dynamic finance team.

  • Provide financial consulting and strategic support with in-depth analysis and strategic input on all short and long-term initiatives
  • Be a strategic partner to the CFO preparing board presentations, financial presentations, and industry comparisons
  • Lead the annual budgeting and planning process as well as overseeing and administering the review of all financial plans and budgets; monitoring progress and changes and keeping the senior leadership team abreast of the organization’ s financial status
  • Work with the CFO to develop dashboard reports that present financial and operational results in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicating monthly, quarterly and annual results
  • Drive the development of a culture of data-driven decision making, by taking responsibility for sound reporting, data integrity, and rigorous analysis throughout the organization
  • Develop and maintain a multi-year financial plan informed by industry analysis, market opportunity data, and peer-company benchmarking
  • Enable sound financial management of the organization, including cost control, through reporting that delivers actionable intelligence and analysis
  • Support business expansion and corporate development initiatives by driving rigorous financial analysis and development of detailed financial models

  • Bachelor’ s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Proven financial leadership experience 
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive action and implementation
  • 7 years of finance experience
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Extensive experience working with financial systems, financial planning systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment while influencing the organization to implement new policies, procedures and programs
  • Capable of prioritizing, negotiating and working with a variety of internal stakeholders
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Familiar with standard accounting principles (GAAP)

  • Master’ s Degree or MBA
  • At least 3 years within the technology industry
  • Knowledge of NetSuite
  • Direct experience in the Software Industry
  • Practice with Adaptive Planning
  • Aptitude to focus on detail 
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative, work independently, and use creative problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiastic, analytical, self-motivated, dynamic, organized, and collaborative
