A research university in Boston is looking to hire a HRIS Analyst for a 3 to  6-month contract position with potential to convert into permanent work. It is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is very motivated to learn, attentive, and is interested in HR! 

  • Assist in the development and deployment of ad-hoc and standard report capabilities to users, as well as support in providing ad-hoc reports and developing reports in Argos 
  • Serve as resource to HRM staff to support and implement reports or queries
  • Contribute to the training and documentation of our reporting solution to support user needs
  • Provide support and solutions for end users of Banner HR and PeopleAdmin functionality
  • Identify and document technically-based process improvements that leverage technology and reduce manual efforts
  • Participate in efforts to manage data audits and reconciles HR data integration issues, including coordination with Office of Institutional Research, to enhance overall data integrity levels
  • Creates and acts upon audit queries to ensure the integrity of data in Banner HR, PeopleAdmin or the ODS 
  • Maintain database tables and making appropriate changes and updates

  • Bachelor’ s degree
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience in systems and/or HR systems
  • Microsoft Excel knowledge: Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Extremely strong customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Experience with BannerHR and/or HRMS systems
  • Proficient in SQL Developer
  • Familiarity with Human Resources and Payroll functional processes
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative, work independently, and use creative problem-solving skills to solve technical or process-related problems
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, organized, and collaborative
  • Aptitude to communicate professionally with non-technical employees and management
