A non-profit organization devoted to providing exceptional services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, seeks a bright and passionate Human Resources (HR) Manager to join their team! This position stands on a contract basis; however, it has the intention of converting into permanent work. The individual in this role will assist with day-to-day HR operations and help leadership to analyze the overall HR needs. Additionally, this is a tremendous opportunity for someone who is passionate about forming enduring and professionally supported relationships that can make a difference in the lives of others.  

  • Preform benefits and compensation work
  • Direct HRIS Implementation
  • Run employee relations
  • Overseeing recruiting
  • Recruit for some roles
  • Manage the learning and development functions 
  • Handle compliance

  • Bachelor' s Degree
  • 3 or more years of HR Involvement
  • Experience owning HR
  • Preferences:
  • Union experience
  • Competence to multi-task, take initiative, work independently, and use creative problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, organized, analytical and collaborative
  • Ability to create and maintain a team spirit and harmonious working relationships
