Are you highly motivated and detailed? Ready to join a fast-paced organization? A large biotech company seeks a talented Inventory Management Coordinator to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. However, this position has the potential to extend. This individual will actively order, receive, monitor and maintain supply of GMP regulated spare parts. Moreover, this is an exciting and new opportunity for a self-proclaimed go-getter looking for a vigorous and innovative environment to make an immediate impact.

  • Properly check, purchase and maintain stock parts inventory in stockrooms and storage areas
  • Report regularly on standard inventory control metrics
  • Monitor outstanding orders and manage supplier relationships
  • Preform data entry in the validated CMMS for received and issued parts and inventory
  • Manage Inventory Ordering and usage trend reporting
  • Execute cycle counts and update stockroom parts inventory report out on inventory turns
  • Identify and correct discrepancies in CMMS system
  • Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure parts availability 
  • Develop and maintain KPI’ s, reporting and other metrics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Maintain compliance with company policy and procedure as well as departmental Forms, SOP’ s and Work Instructions (WI)
  • Assist in the identification of alternative sources for equivalent parts and supplies 

  • Bachelor’ s Degree in a scientific or allied health field
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in the Biotech or Pharmaceutical Industry, or relevant comparable background
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly attentive to detail
  • Proven ability to manage inventory of complicated and intricate parts, assemblies and supplies in a regulated environment

  • Previous GxP working experience 
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, organized, analytical and collaborative 
  • Capability to create and maintain a team spirit and harmonious working relationships
  • Competence to multi-task, take initiative, work independently, and use creative problem-solving skills
