A software company seeks a SEC Reporting Manager to manage and prepare filings, as well as research and document technical accounting issues that are relevant to the company.   • Prepare all SEC financial filings in accordance with GAAP and SEC rules
  • Concoct and coordinate quarterly earnings releases
  • Complete GAAP disclosure checklist to ensure all required GAAP disclosures and
  • accounting is considered
  • Proactively research technical accounting matters and prepare accounting treatment
  • position papers
  • Support internal control planning, documentation, and controls testing
  • Assist annual external audits and quarterly reviews
  • Perform complex ongoing accounting tasks, stock-based compensation, earnings
  • per share
  • Drive continuous improvement in the timeliness and accuracy of the external reporting
  • process

  • 2 to 5 years of public audit firm experience 
  • Public company reporting exposure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP system reporting
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
