An International Asset Management Firm seeks a talented and motivated Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team! Responsibilities:
  • Retrieve invoices and expense reports from online systems and verify appropriate authorizations
  • Code invoices and employee expense reports and enter into Great Plains accounting system
  • Responsible for the once-a-week check run process
  • Ensure that all paid invoices are properly filed electronically
  • Process AMEX reports through Concur for 90 cardholders monthly
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors and employees
  • Update vendor records; Update accounting records to ensure that employee expense limitations have not been exceeded for reimbursable benefits such as Health Club fees

  
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’ s degree in Accounting or Business-related field
  • 4 or more years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Familiarity with sales and use tax as well as 1099 processing
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Great Plains, Concur, and online banking
  • Highly attentive to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Knowledge of electronic cash management rules 
  • Competence to multi-task, take initiative, work independently, and use creative problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, organized, analytical and cooperative
  • Capability to create and maintain a team spirit and harmonious working relationship
