A leading private multi-asset alternative investment firm seeks a talented and motivated Senior Audio-Visual Engineer to be the lead engineer providing direction and structure to the team’ s day to day support model. Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate all AV meeting support by keeping detailed records of meeting requests 
  • Maintain records related to service calls, inventory, repairs, system performance, trouble ticket processing, and procedures for communications support team
  • Mange on-site and remote live videoconferences in progress
  • Assist users with the set-up and coordination of meetings, special events and training sessions
  • Provide remote and on-site technical customer service support for audio, video and presentation systems
  • Support the coordination and execution of executive off-sites regarding technology
  • Actively monitor the health and performance of the unified communications systems
  • Serve as a point of contact for Communications Services related break-fix equipment issues 
  • Create and maintain Communications Services technical documentation

Qualifications:
  • Familiar with meeting room facility design including an understanding of general AV signal flow and the ability to read as-built drawings and CAD files
  • Knowledge of audio processing – general understanding of echo cancellation and AGC in integrated AV systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of videoconference protocols and video network infrastructure
  • Experience in both H.323 video transmission and SIP transmission
  • Practice with Crestron DM products and Control Systems

Nice to Haves:
  • Biamp experience
  • Experience with Zoom and Cisco video endpoints and bridges
  • Ability to create and maintain a team spirit and harmonious working relationship 
  • Capability to multi-task, take initiative, work independently, and use creative problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, organized, analytical and collaborative
