The largest independent savings services provider seeks a bright and passionate Senior Financial Analyst to quantify the financial impact of opportunities or expenditures and identifies key issues and trends. This individual will be responsible for the preparation of monthly reporting and support various finance projects and analyses.   • Build a financial model to support operational initiatives and analytical endeavors
  • Handle decision-making on business and strategic matters
  • Provide on-going financial analyses
  • Test and reconcile all financial models and analytic results
  • Generate and distribute regularly scheduled financial reports
  • Review and organize financial and operational data for reports
  • Assist in the preparation of complex reports
  • Support the development and monitoring of annual and multi-year budgets, projections, forecasts and trends
  • Research and resolve data integrity issues 
  • Offer training for staff on the use of financial reports, internal procedures, and data
  • Acts as a resource to staff in other departments

  • Bachelor’ s degree in accounting or finance
  • 2 to 4 years of financial or accounting experience
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Solid Microsoft Office expertise (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel)
  • Highly attentive to detail 
  • Experience in financial modeling and forecasting
  • Understanding and working knowledge of accounting and finance theories, practices, and regulations
  • Ability to apply financial and statistical principles and techniques to synthesize large amounts of data

Nice to Haves:
  • Cognos TM1, Oracle ERP, and/or Other General Ledger reporting experience 
  • Competence to multi-task, take initiative, work independently, and use creative problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, organized, analytical, customer-service oriented, and collaborative 
  • Capability to create and maintain a team spirit and harmonious working relationships
