This individual will supervise and perform primary accounting function for corporate and property level General Ledgers.   • Prepare Board and Committee level reporting packages
  • Generate and review financial reports and supporting work papers monthly, quarterly, and annually on a GAAP basis
  • Research technical accounting issues, prepare accounting memos and assist with other technical matters
  • Review monthly hotel operating statements ensuring preparation in accordance with lease and management agreements
  • Assist in the preparation of post accounting close presentations to senior business leaders including comparative results analysis 
  • Support the internal audit process including updating internal control policies and testing
  • Maintain general ledger, prepare/review journal entries and general ledger account analysis

  • Bachelor’ s Degree in Accounting; a strong record of success in academic and work environment
  • 3 or more  years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency with Property Management/Accounting/SEC software 
  • Solid Microsoft Office expertise (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with business partners and management regarding accounting related matters

Nice to Haves:
  • CPA
  • Public Accounting experience
  • Yardi and/or Workiva proficiency
  • Competence to multi-task, take initiative, work independently, and use creative problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, organized, analytical and cooperative
  • Capability to create and maintain a team spirit and harmonious working relationships
