This individual will take ownership of their areas of responsibility and ensure accurate and timely completion of company reporting requirements. Responsibilities:
  • Manage the month-end close process including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations and flux analysis related to technical accounting areas 
  • Oversee the preparation of quarterly external financial statements 
  • Lead the preparation of all SEC filings
  • Perform research for disclosure requirements related to technical accounting issues and SEC requirements to ensure complete disclosures in filings
  • Review the accuracy of data included in quarterly earnings press releases 
  • Participate in researching technical accounting topics and adoption of new accounting pronouncements
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to understand business scenarios and determine accounting treatment for proposed transactions 
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining financial policies

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’ s Degree in Accounting
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience, public accounting  
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP, including ability to research and form own conclusions
  • Experience with technical accounting research including revenue recognition, lease accounting, investments
  • Exposure to Oracle EBS and strong Excel skills 
  • Highly attentive to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Willingness to respond to changing business needs of a growing company

  • Self-confidence to work with senior leaders to support Accounting and Finance needs
