Responsibilities:
  • Deploy and maintain a Cisco WebEx project to rollout videoconferencing sites at corporate headquarters and remote offices
  • Resolve tickets that have been escalated to the Telecom Incident and Request ticket queue
  • Escalate voice service issues to carriers and follow up as needed to minimize resolution times
  • Manage carrier account authorizations and portal access audits on a quarterly basis
  • Develop and lead monthly reporting and analytic activities to demonstrate vigilant governance over Telecom expense management, Telecom operations, and vendor management
  • Advance an accurate Telecom inventory of mobile devices and voice circuits
  • Identify and execute on cost optimization opportunities
  • Document Telecom-specific processes, procedures, and knowledgebase articles to maintain efficient operations
  • Manage and complete Telecom-related projects as assigned either as primary PM or in collaboration with Project Management Office
  • Partner with Corporate Accounting, review and summarize Telecom-related contracts advising on risk avoidance and pricing strategy, and ensure expenses are allocated correctly

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor' s Degree 
  • At least 5 years of related experience
  • Strong operational knowledge of telecommunications services including wireline, and wireless
  • 3 or more years in direct Telecom vendor management and Telecom operational support
  • 3 or more years in Telecom auditing, billing, and provisioning of fixed circuits as well as end user telecommunications 
  • 5 or more years of experience working directly with Telecom suppliers
  • Proven working experience with VoIP, specifically with Cisco Call Manager
  • 3 or more experience performing Telecom contract review
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal skills

Preferences:
  • Cisco CCNA Voice, CCNP Voice or CCIE Voice certifications
  • Involvement managing vendors such as AT&T, Windstream, Verizon, Granite and Tangoe
  • Experience managing a Telecom Op Ex and Cap Ex budget
